Trip Coils NS
Schneider Electric
Trip Coils NS
Art. no.: 3188510
MX or MN trip coils are used for remote tripping of the circuit breaker. They are mainly used for remote disconnections and emergency stop commands and interruptions.
MN undervoltage trigger
Undervoltage trigger MN trips the circuit breaker when supply voltage falls below 35 % of its nominal voltage Un.
Under voltage trigger combined with emergency button ensures fail-safe disconnection. MN coil is constantly activated i.e. if the current is broken:
- either intentionally, in the event of emergency stop
- or unintentionally, by e.g. drop in voltage, the coil immediately trips the circuit breaker.
MX shunt release
MX shunt release opens the circuit breaker via a pulse (= 20 ms) or continuous signal.
Conditions for opening:
When the MX coil is activated, it automatically trips the circuit breaker. Trip is ensured for a voltage of U > 0.7 x Un.

Motor mechanism NS
Schneider Electric
Motor mechanism NS
Art. no.: 3188588
When Compact NSX is equipped with motor mechanism they exhibit a very high mechanical service life and easy and safe control:
- all of the power switch indications, including the settings in and the indications from the trigger block, are still visible and available
- Reliable position indication is maintained and the power switch can still be locked with padlock
- double-insulated front.
Application areas:
- local motor driven control, centralised control, automatic distribution control
- normal / backup power switch or switching to a spare source to optimize energy costs
- load disconnection and re-connection to optimize energy costs
- synchronization.
Automatic operation:
- connection and disconnection with two pulse signals or continuous signals
- Automatic reset after commanded trip (with MN or MX) with standard connection
- mandatory manual reset after tripping due to electrical failure.
Manual operation:
- manual switching with a front switch, with remote indication option
- connection and disconnection with two push buttons
- Recharge the operating spring by pumping nine times with the manual charging handle
- locking with padlock in off position.
Mounting and connection:
All means of mounting (fixed, plug-in/pull-out) and means of connection are maintained.
The motor mechanism is connected with integral terminals behind the front, with cables up to 2.5 mm².

Motor starter protector switch MS 132
ABB
Motor starter protector switch MS 132
Art. no.: 3112122
This type of motor protection is used when manoeuvring is not necessary. Example of applications include upright drilling machines, cross-cutters. The breakers can also be used together with contactors in order to achieve a facility which can be manoeuvred or if the unit is to be incorporated into automatic equipment.
The devices are self-protecting, i.e. separate short-circuit protection systems are not needed in case of short-circuit current of up to 100 kA (see the information in the ordering table).
There is a wide range of accessories for the breakers. E.g. encapsulations, auxiliary contacts, signal contacts, undervoltage triggers and labelling to name a few.
Technical data:
Clear on/off/trip positions
Lockable handle
Front-mounted signal contact block for short circuit indication is available as an accessory.

Safety switch plastic encased SA 16-25 A
Norwesco
Safety switch plastic encased SA 16-25 A
Art. no.: 3164310
Enclosed load switch/disconnectors in accordance with IEC 60947-3, e.g. for use as safety switch where required. In accordance with applicable regulations, a safety switch must be connected in a main circuit to disconnect the plant section during mechanical or electrical work and to prevent unintentional reconnection of the plant while work is in progress. Since a safety switch is only to be used to disconnect a plant section, the plant’s electrical circuit must have both a switching device for start and stop, and a separate switching device as a safety switch.
