Auxiliary connectors cab be used for remote indication of the breaker’s status, for interlocks, for controlling relays, etc. Meets requirements according to IEC 60947-5. Low level version is used in circuits with low signal levels in power/voltage.
Functions:
- OF (from/to): indicates the situation for the circuit breaker’s contacts.
- SD (tripped circuit breaker): indicates that the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
- overload
- short circuit
-earth fault
- activation of a shunt or undervoltage trigger
- activation of a trip button (push to trip)
- pulling out of circuit breaker.
The SD connector returns when the circuit breaker is reset.
- SDE (trip protection): indicates that the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
- Overload
- Short circuit
- earth fault.
The SDE connector returns when the circuit breaker is reset.
- SDV (Vigi earth fault indicator): indicates that the circuit breaker has tripped due to
SDV contact returns when the Vigi module is reset.
Installation
- OF, SD, SDE and SDV functions: one and the same contact provides any of these functions depending on placement of the breaker. The contacts are snapped in place for desired function of the breaker (without front cover) or in the Vigi module (applies to SDV contact)
- To get SDE function of thermomagnetic trigger, an SDE adapter is required.
