With these circuits, the dynamic range increases and improves reception by approx. 27%. Three new European patents are behind the new DAT-HD Boss with its built-in Boss technology (Balanced Output Signal System) and AGC (Automatic Gain Control). Weak signals become stronger, while strong signals are attenuated. The low-noise amplifier, which is built into the antenna housing, has a signal bypass. No voltage means that the antenna works passively. 12-24 volts provides an active antenna with AGC. In the HF-tight housing there is a 4-layer amplifier board with automatic AGC. This means that the antenna always provides maximum performance regardless of whether the signal is too weak or too strong for a short time. Important: To use amplifiers and AGCs, the antenna must be supplemented with a power supply.

The requirements regarding HF seal in a TV cable are very high. Macab cables are double-shielded. Where the connectors are connected to the coaxial cable, the shielding is reinforced by the screen’s overlapping with the connector’s cover. Regardless of the TV cable, the HF seal is at least 75 dB. This protects against unwanted radiation, which at the same time protecting the surroundings against broadcast TV signal.

VF-210 is a compact attachment, 7.5 cm from the wall. This attachment is included as upper attachment point in certain end fasteners. VF-210 is sold in pairs. French bolts are supplied.
VF-230P is the ordinary wall attachment for satellite dish installations. The distance from the wall is 23 cm. The attachment consists of a bottom section with 3 attachment points and one top section with 2. Supplement the attachment with a suitable mast tube.
VF-3P is a strong attachment intended for larger satellite dishes too. The distance from the wall is 40 cm. An L-shaped bracket is installed on the attachment for suspension of the satellite dish.

Compression contacts of TRS and DRS type mean innovative thinking in compression technology. Many innovations have been implemented, some of which have been patented. One change is the unique solution with external O-ring, which gives full metallic contact between nut and connector. This guarantees that the contact gets the right torque and also the right impedance.
A known fact is that F-contacts tightened with a torque wrench tend to loosen due to e.g. vibrations. Loosening in these new contacts is prevented by a unique locking ring (L design).
Among the PCT patents there is a solution with double 360 degree compression rings which give an optimal tensile load and shielding properties as well as protects against moisture ingress.
For installers these connectors are easier and quicker to work with. Especially with the new ergonomically designed compression tool. All connectors are colour- and type-coded, with a colour for each cable type.
The DRS series is for normal installations while the TRAS contacts are used for very demanding purposes where maximum performance is a must.
The TRS contacts are in somewhat shorter housing and can therefore be used in narrow spaces.

Macab’s pipe brackets are available in 3 fixed sizes for the market’s most common mast tubes, 38 mm, 50 mm and 76 mm. In addition there is an adjustable pipe bracket with a stop screw.
RK-50/76 handles mast tubes from 50 mm to 76. Additionally it is adjustable 0-75 mm from the wall, which is a big advantage with uneven walls or when the mast tube has to come out of the wall for another reason. In the range there are even corresponding fixed angled brackets, left or right for installation in “oblique" trusses.
