No voltage means that the antenna works passively. 12-24 volts provides an active antenna with AGC. In the HF-tight housing there is a 4-layer amplifier board with automatic AGC. This means that the antenna always provides maximum performance regardless of whether the signal is too weak or too strong for a short time. Important: To use amplifiers and AGCs, the antenna must be supplemented with a power supply.
