Flange sealing - Slow setting Ideal for use for treated and stiff flanges.
LOCTITE 573 is used for sealing of tightly joined seams between stiff surfaces and flanges of metal. The product sets without contact with air between tightly joined metal surfaces. Typically used as a formed-in-place gasket on stiff flange couplings, e.g. in gearboxes and machine housings. It is ideal for partial installation that requires several hours. The characteristics of LOCTITE 573 provide less outflow of the still-liquid product after application to the part.
