T2000 is after hardening removable and resistant to fuel, oil, coolant and solvents. Have a gap of 0.3 m/m and can be used on the threads of up to 1 ". Hazard labelling; irritating.

Dow Corning Silicone adhesive/sealant 732 is a durable single component, rubber-type material that hardens at room temperature. It meets the demands of a large variety of industrial glues and sealing needs. It is excellently suited for connecting different materials and materials with different extents.

Silicon adhesive/sealing products from Dow Corning have the following properties:
Temperature range: -65° to +350°C
Weather resistant: Silicone adhesive is very resistant to UV radiation and external environment so does not harden, crack and become brittle
Chemical-resistant: Silicon adhesive will not decompose even during long exposure

Acetic acid hardened silicone adhesive is normally the first choice because of the price and temperature resistance. These can withstand up to 275°C continuously and 350°C for a short duration depending on the product.

Flange sealing - Slow setting Ideal for use for treated and stiff flanges.

LOCTITE 573 is used for sealing of tightly joined seams between stiff surfaces and flanges of metal. The product sets without contact with air between tightly joined metal surfaces. Typically used as a formed-in-place gasket on stiff flange couplings, e.g. in gearboxes and machine housings. It is ideal for partial installation that requires several hours. The characteristics of LOCTITE 573 provide less outflow of the still-liquid product after application to the part.

The advantages:
Commonly used as a formed-in-place gasket on stiff flange couplings.
Ideal for sealing of large, stiff metal flanges, or flanges where installation may take up to several hours.

Typical applications include sealing of side windows in train cars, sealing of heat sources (ovens, heat exchangers, steam lines, water heaters), protection/insulation of electrical cabinets, adhesion of HCR silicone and general maintenance.
