Optical wireless linkable fire alarm with 10-year battery. It has a test and pause button and a diode that indicates function with 1 blink/min. Approved according to EN 14604:2005 + AC: 2008, with a sound pressure of 85dbm. Safety function The non-replaceable battery is integrated into the mounting plate. Optical fire alarms have an advanced photocell system that detects smoke particles. The optical smoke detector is best when it comes to detecting smoldering fires with visible smoke particles. Supplied with 10-year battery, mounting plate, screw, plug and user manual. The number of fire alarms that can be connected is limited by the range of the radio signal. In order for the connected fire alarm to be affected, it must have direct contact with the fire alarm that sounds the alarm, the alarm is not forwarded. The range is >100m in clear view but is limited by walls and objects. Recommended maximum number of connected units 12.

MC 440 is a magnetic connector for surface mounting and NC function with 2 pre-mounted resistors of 1K ohm for balanced loop. When installing, select one or both of the resistances to be used, see connection diagram. The connector has a screw terminal with wire cover for easy mounting. With the supplied magnet it works the contact is excellent also on security doors with a very good gap. If you want even greater gaps, the magnet can be replaced by an extra strong magnet, MC 400-MX. Plastic spacers are supplied to the magnetic and contact parts when mounted on steel or to build better distances. The plastic spacers are also available separately, see MC 400-6 and MC 400-7. For thinner plastic spacers, MC 400-3 and MC 400-4 also work. There are also different types of mounting angles, see MC L or MC Z. If different resistance values are desired in the contact, this is good to order.

These optical fire alarms can be linked with to 0.75 mm2 wires to form a system – if one alarm is triggered, they all sound an alarm. The test button for the function control and pause function, which lowers sensitivity for 10 minutes, allows for avoiding unnecessary alarms in connection with cooking, for instance. With a pin, you can ensure that the fire alarm cannot be removed from its mount. The battery lock ensures that the fire alarm cannot be mounted without a battery. The mount is black, so the absence of the fire alarm in the ceiling is visible, which is a safety function. Supplied complete with a mounting bracket with a mounting gap of 30-75 mm, 5 mm screws, plugs and a super heavy-duty battery, as well as usage instruction in Swedish.
