Three new European patents are behind the new DAT-HD Boss with its built-in Boss technology (Balanced Output Signal System) and AGC (Automatic Gain Control). Weak signals become stronger, while strong signals are attenuated. The low-noise amplifier, which is built into the antenna housing, has a signal bypass. No voltage means that the antenna works passively. 12-24 volts provides an active antenna with AGC. In the HF-tight housing there is a 4-layer amplifier board with automatic AGC. This means that the antenna always provides maximum performance regardless of whether the signal is too weak or too strong for a short time.
