General
ABB's Component frequency converter ACS55 is like its predecessor ACS50 but now with the function that you can connect the PC tool – DriveKonfig. With this PC Tools you can, in addition to the on-line function, set up and manage and update the software without connecting the ACS55 device.
ACS55 which is intended for speed control of simple motor applications, includes features such as start and stop ramps, motor protection, etc. and can be controlled locally with a local control panel (option) or from remote via 0-10V or 0-20mA reference. A very simple and easy-to-use speed control for most small motor applications. All parameter settings are made easily on the front with DIP switches and potentiometers. Installation with DIN rail or wall mounting. ACS55 has automatic optimum modulation frequency for lowest motor sound.
EMC
In ACS55 comes standard with RFI filter that meets the EMC Directive for both industry and the environment, according to housing (C3 EN 61800-3) environmental (C1-C2 under EN 61800-3).

I/O connection; Via 1 x analogue input, 3 digital inputs, 1 output relay of the NO/NC type.
