Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop

Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop can be installed according to two principles – with or without insect mesh/functional mesh. The installation method with insect mesh/functional mesh is referred to as "Tenmat System Mark 2".

Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop is a cost-effective and convenient fire protection solution for ventilated air gaps in eaves and facades. The fire stop consists of a graphite-based intumescent strip that expands significantly even at low temperatures, quickly sealing the openings of the air gap and preventing extensive fire spread. The solid intumescent strip easily handles any irregularities in the air gap. Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop is approved for installation in air gaps up to 50mm. The fire stop begins to expand when the temperature in the air gap reaches 180°C and then takes about 2 minutes to fully seal the air gap (at 50 mm air gap). Once the air gap is completely sealed, the product provides 30-60 minutes of fire resistance in both integrity and insulation. The product is assessed by Byggvarubedömningen and Sunda Hus. The product is listed in the Nordic Swan Ecolabel's Building Product Portal and is therefore approved for use in Swan-labeled construction projects.

IMPORTANT!
Currently, eaves strips/intumescent strips with fire rating EI30 are often prescribed. We recommend that you always consult the responsible fire consultant or engineer before choosing/recommending the product type. This is to ensure fire requirements and desired function in accordance with the general advice from Boverket in BBR 5:535. See Fire Mesh INCA WFS (article 72720113) for an approved solution for fire rating EI30.

Tenmat System Mark 2

Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop can advantageously be installed together with a metal insect mesh ("Functional Mesh TJB" art no 137015) to achieve the function of preventing flames and sparks from entering the attic space before the fire strip has expanded. This combined installation is called "Tenmat System Mark 2" and is a fire sealing system where the performance has been fire tested and subsequently assessed by SAK3 certified fire consultants. Tenmat System Mark 2 can, in the configuration described in the installation instructions, be used to meet section 5:535 in BBR.

IMPORTANT! Note that "Functional Mesh TJB" is 10 meters and Tenmat Ventilated Fire Stop is 6.3 meters. As these two products are to be combined when ordering, the proportions need to be adjusted according to the project. This results in an uneven number of products from each article. Only "Functional Mesh TJB" is approved for use in the Tenmat Mark 2 system.

Expanding graphite sealant that expands when exposed to fire, thereby protecting penetrations such as cables, cable bundles, cable trays, plastic and metal pipes. Seals tightly in openings and penetrations in the fire cell's walls and floors, providing up to 4 hours of fire resistance. This product protects plastic pipe penetrations in the event of a fire and eliminates the need for pipe closures or pipe clamps. FS709 is suitable for penetrations with pipes of the following types up to 125 mm: PVC pipes, ABS pipes, and HDPE pipes with Armaflex and glass wool insulation. It can also be used with metal pipes, cables, and cable bundles, as well as with telecommunications cables, cable trays, and cable ladders.

FB750 is a lightweight four-hour fire protection board consisting of a mineral fiber board coated with a unique sealing and protective water-based coating. Restoration of service openings in walls and floors, prevention of fire spread, as well as heat, fire, smoke, and sound insulation. When used together with FS702, the FB750 board is suitable for sealing around the following: Non-combustible pipes, cable trays, cable ladders, and cable baskets (perforated or non-perforated), armored cables, data cables, high-voltage cables, cable bundles up to 100 mm. Examples of typical applications include healthcare and leisure facilities, schools, universities, corporate premises, shops, and industrial premises. Dimensions: 1200X600X50 mm.

Novapipe W is a rapidly expanding pipe strangler. Easily mounts around penetrations using a velcro attachment.
When penetration into the wall, 1st Novapipe W is mounted on each side and in the case of joists the bandage is mounted only from the underside.
In the rule wall, Novapipe W is mounted in a metal mare with part number 1480041. The space around the pipe strangler is sealed (environment & sound seal) easily with Novatherm SP part number 1480017T. Pipe strangler/fire tape is used for plastic pipes, cables in bundles and or plastic pipes in bundles. E.g.: VP pipes, Tap water pipes, sewage pipes made of PVC, PE and PP etc. Novapipe W is sold in fixed sizes for pipe outer diameter up to 125mm.
APPROVAL: ETA 17/0766 for fire sealing of plastic pipes. Fire rating up to EI 120.

Protega Fire seal kit EL +. Fire seal kit for cable, cable ladders, pipes and ventilation ducts. Fire class up to EI120. Complete package for installation in fire-separating solid wall / floor or rule wall. The seal is overpaintable and it is easy to supplement with more penetrations at a later stage. products are part of a system and are approved according to ETA17 / 0767 and ETA17 / 0764.

Mount board from each side in wall or floor with the help of the included joint / paint, seal with superwool and Ecomastic SP. If necessary, paint on cables / cable ladder 200mm. With painting, fire class EI120 is always achieved. For larger plastic pipes, you can supplement the system with a Novapipe S pipe sleeve and fasten it with a metal attachment.
