Esab ok tigrod 5356

OK Tigrod 5356 is a magnesium alloyed aluminium wire for TIG welding of saltwater resistant Al-Mg-alloys containing up to 5% Mg. The welding wire is the most used type, and is intended for welding alloys equivalent to ENAW-5083 ( SS 4140), for example, where high-strength of the weld joint is desired. Base material in series 5XXX, which together with OK Tigrod 5356 provides a weld with more than 3% Mg with good resistance to cracks caused by tensile corrosion, even when operating temperatures exceed 65ºC. The alloy cannot be heat treated. Current type AC.
