All MSA chine strap holds the helmet in place in the event of fall or impact and is approved in accordance with EN397 and can handle a breaking strength of a minimum 150N and can be released in the event 250N of the risk of threats. It is a combination approved for work at a height with MSA chin strap (not for rock climbing EN12492).
