The helmet Vertex from Petzl is a very comfortable work helmet with features that guarantees that the helmet fits comfortably and securely on the user's head. Knobs on the sides adjust the head position so that the helmet is always centered on the head. The detachable hook strap sits extra low in the neck thanks to a newly developed headrest that is also retractable for easier storage and transport. The helmet's adjustable chin strap makes it ideal to use at both high altitude and on the ground by allowing the user to choose between EN 397 and EN 12492 position on the chin itself. The unventilated outer casing protects against electrical hazards, molten metal and flames. The helmet can be equipped with headlamp, hearing protection and visor. Patented multifunctional safety helmet for work at a height and rescue operations. Unique and certified both as industrial helmet, EN 397, and climbing helmet, EN 12492, and combines the properties of both standards (2-in-1). Light helmet shell in UV-resistant ABS provides high protection level and durability. 6-point suspension, knob adjustment and ventilation provide the best possible fit and comfort. Easily replaceable sweatband. 30 mm Euro slots on the sides for attaching hearing protection. There is a face protection and boiler lamp holder. Clips for extra accessories such as basket goggles or boiler lamp with band. Approved and marked for use in down to -30˚C.

The helmet comes with 2 chin bands:
4-point chin band meets the requirements EN 12492 for work at a height.
2-point chin band meets the requirements EN 397 for work on the ground.

Interior with 4-point textile strap with wheel adjustment.

All MSA chine strap holds the helmet in place in the event of fall or impact and is approved in accordance with EN397 and can handle a breaking strength of a minimum 150N and can be released in the event 250N of the risk of threats. It is a combination approved for work at a height with MSA chin strap (not for rock climbing EN12492).

Modern, lightweight and comfortable helmet with good ventilation, 3 year warranty. The air holes on the shell are protected with a thin mesh of aluminum to prevent debris from entering the helmet. 4-point chin strap and steering wheel adjustment, 10 years life. NOTE! Adapters for hearing aids are required, art 458161. Some people feel that hearing aids of a manufacturer other than KASK do not work to the satisfaction. Therefore, we urge all customers who buy the helmet to check that the desired hearing protection fits. This applies mainly to hearing aids with electronics. Information about the small visor V2 in combination with a headlamp: The headlamps that are available as accessories for this product work together with the small external visor V2.
