Straps hdg

Strapping is used for stabilisation of wooden structures. They are also used as cross braces in floors and walls. When a perforated strip is used the rules for edge distance, internal nail distance, etc. must in accordance with BKR (the design rules of the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building, and Planning) must be applied. In order for the strap lashings to have the intended effect it is important that they are mounted well-tensioned.
