HI earth fault breaker can distinguish inequalities between earth and phase side from actual earth fault. It can also identify high frequency currents or currents that are caused by connections and disconnections, that usually result in faulty trippings. Traditional earth fault breakers can trip if overcurrents occur (lightening strikes or other causes of transients), which this type of earth fault breaker does not do. Earth fault breakers is time delayed 200ms.
