Cable splice 1 kV, ALUS

Use: For insulation and sealing of the press splice sleeve when splicing ALUS 1kV aerial bundled cable.
Standard: SS 424 14 44. Raychem PPS 3013.
Design: The inner sleeve is expanded to 25 mm internal diameter so that it can be applied and shrunk with heat. It is internally coated with adhesive that melts and seals during shrinking. The sleeve shrinks to 8 mm diameter; the length is 300 or 500 mm. The material’s mechanical and electrical durability enables splicing of wires to be carried out in situ without displacement.
Set contents: The sets include only 1 hose. A complete 4-lead splice requires 4 sets.
