Cable joint 1kV

Use: For splicing of 1kV plastic- and paper-insulated cable for 3-, 4-, and 5-lead and for transition between plastic- and paper-insulated cable as well as signal cable. Tolerates 10 m water depth.
Standard: SS 424 14 44, 1st edition, EBR KJ 24:89.
Design: The cable splice consists of an impact-resistant mould with flexible sealing rings between the mould and the cable. Casting resin and hardener are precisely measured in a two-chamber bag. SMARTA should not be installed at temperatures below –10°C.
When splicing paper-insulated cable, and at transitions between paper- and plastic-insulated cable, the PPC accessory set must be used.
When splicing plastic-insulated cable to paper-insulated cable, sleeves with intermediate walls must be used.
