Melbyes’ Modular conduit consists of constructable sections of 150 mm which simply click into each other to reach the depth one wants, which makes it a very flexible solution. A modular conduit is the best choice when one is uncertain about the installation depth in, for example, an urban environment. The low weight makes it easy to transport and install by hand without help from cranes or other equipment. The plastic construction is tested and FF6060 withstands a 40 ton load. There are many different sizes to choose between. Choose the right kind of cover that the installation requires - A15, B125 or D400. The A15 cover to FF6060 is manufactured in HDPE and is lockable with a Penta Head Lock. The B125 cover is manufactured in cast iron and is suitable for installation in parking areas and areas with slow moving vehicles. The B125 cover is lockable with a Penta Head Lock and has a 70mm frame. The D400 cover is manufactured in cast iron and is suitable for installations with high traffic. They come in two parts and are not lockable. Note that different installation instructions are suitable for D400 applications. With a D400-installation the three highest sections should be intact. Therefore the well should be at least 5 sections deep in such an installation.
