Transparent polycarbonate cover (UL94-VO), brass clamp and galvanized steel screw. Halogen-free. Max area is indicated for coupling two wires with the same area, 6 mm² meaning that two 6mm² conductors can be connected in the clamp. It is also possible to connect multiple wires with the same maximum area as two wires with the specified maximum area, so for 6 mm² there can be max 8 wires of 1.5 mm² or 4 wires of 2.5 mm².
