Sealants sikacryl-vent

Sikacryl®Vent is an acrylic dispersion with rust protection that dries by the evaporation of water. It is used for sealing of ventilation channels, e.g. sealed spigots for Spiro pipe, air-conditioning units, fume hoods and similar. Has good adhesion on galvanised sheet, PVC pipe, metal, wood, concrete and glass. Sikacryl®Vent adheres also to damp and cold sheet metal. For application with a pistol. The jointing compound should be pressed towards the underlay so that no air bubbles are created. Evening is done with a suitable tool such as a rubber or steel putty knife, immediately after application. The joint shall be protected against rain for at least 12 hours after application. Colour: grey. Repaintable. Good resistance to ozone and UV radiation. For high pressure ducts according to the B-norm VVS-AMA. Registered in Basta.
