OK Autrod 12.64 is a copper plated, silicon-manganese alloyed G4Si1/ER70S-6 wire electrode for gas metal arc welding of non-alloyed and fine grain treated steel types in general structures, car industry, pressure vessel manufacturing and shipbuilding. The higher silicon and manganese content contributes to a more porous weld and better wetting against the base material, as well increasing the weld’s strength. Fine flushed. Shielding gas: Ar /CO² mixed gas(M21) or pure CO² (C1). Current type DC+.
