**Yellow**: is aggressive and removes the smallest particles, deeper scratches, marks, and heavy oxidation.
**Orange**: is a good universal sponge for many different polishing purposes. It removes scratches and irregularities while leaving a smooth and even surface. Best used with medium-heavy polishing compounds.
**Blue**: is less aggressive and removes scratches, marks, and irregularities along with polishing compounds.
**Black**: is used for final polishing to achieve maximum shine. Use together with light polishing compounds for a great result.
