The Dräger Alcotest® 4000 breathalyzer offers a safe way to test your blood alcohol content and provides a reliable indication of when it is legal to drive. It meets standards for both private (EN16280) and professional (EN15964) use. Measurement principle: Electrochemical DrägerSensor, alcohol-specific. Measurement range: 0 – 5.00 ‰. If the measurement range is exceeded, a message is displayed. Automatic sampling. Display of measurement results: After approximately 3 seconds (at 0.00 ‰), after approximately 10 seconds (at 1.00 ‰, room temperature). Ambient pressure: 600 – 1,300 hPa. Display: Graphical backlit LCD screen, 32 x 22 mm (128 x 64 pixels). A blue LED to indicate results and warning messages. Storage of the last 400 tests. Mouthpiece: Hygienic and individually packaged. Calibration: Should be done every 12 months to maintain measurement accuracy. Vibration and shock: EN 60068-2-32.
