Fire-teK BD 912 ALB is a high-temperature resistant mineral wool board with aluminum lamination on one side. Provided that the installation instructions are followed, Fire-teK BD 912 ALU can achieve fire rating EI 60 (ve ho i o) – S on rectangular ventilation ducts. Thermal conductivity (?-value) 0.040 at 50°C.
Knauf Insulation Fire-teK BD 912 ALB is manufactured with ECOSE® Technology, a patented binding system entirely based on renewable raw materials.
Applications.
Defined Fire-teK applications:
• Rectangular air ducts
• Wall/ceiling penetrations of rectangular ducts
The product is recommended for fire insulation of defined Fire-teK applications within technical insulation where:
