Fire-resistant neck protector that provides excellent protection when exposed to an electric arc. The neck protector also prevents molten metal from coming in underneath the collar. The neck protector can also be pulled up over the head as a helmet hood providing protection for the ears and other exposed skin and hair between the helmet and the collar. If the neck protector is pulled upwards, it also affords protection for most of the face. The neck protector acts like a scarf, so that means it is also good against the cold.
