Fluke 2042 is a universal cable finder for locating cables in walls and floors, and for localisation of breaks and short circuits in wiring and underfloor heating loops. Fluke 2042 also locates fuses and breakers on group lines and can be used to trace metal water and heating pipes. The receiver has an integrated flashlight and a backlit display. Sensitivity can be adjusted manually or automatically. The transmitter can be connected to both neutral or energized cables. Additional transmitters are available as accessories so that multiple signals can be located at the same time.
