Primary-switched mains system of very high quality and small structure dimension. The range consists of two series; Dimension C with metal housing and Miniline with plastic housing. (Type no. begins with C or ML.) All units have high efficiency, which gives low heat generation and long service life. The units can withstand ambient temperatures up to 60°C without reduction of load current. If overload or short-circuit, the units delivers up to 150-200% of the nominal current. The voltage falls and the current increases. Pulse mains systems are therefore very well-suited to applications with high starting currents, for e.g. DC motors, contactors and coils. The overload function also means that the secondary fuses trip more reliably. In the pulse range, a complete series of 3-phase units and higher output classes are also available.
