Screw cable shoes SL

For connection of copper and aluminium conductors to equipment and copper busbars. Screw connections up to 36kV. For stranded and solid conductors. SL70, SL150 and SL240 are supplied with washers for adjustment to different bolt sizes, either M10/M12 or M12/M16. The connection with the conductor is achieved by tightening the screws until a predefined torque is reached. The tightening is done with a half threaded nut.

The correct torque is achieved when the screw is in the right place. It does this through a new reversible torque screw design. The cable shoe is manufactured of a bimetal type. The cable shoe plate consists of a copper and screws made of brass. In order to keep in the screw connection when tightening in an simple way, there is the Elpress counterbalance tool ISL2201, E1620103.
