Heat shrink tubing for insulation is generally used for situations where there are requirements for good insulation together with mechanical protection. To protect against UV radiation on slacks at the low voltage end and corrosion protection. Included as part of the Raychems 1kV plastic and paper finishes.
Standard: Raychem PPS 3013 and 3012.
Design: Medium thickness wall. Halogen-free. Made of modified polyolefin with very high level of electrical, mechanical, weather and corrosion resistant properties. Continuous operating temperature-40°C to +120°C.
