Insulator cover HU

Use:For use as bird protection on the post transformer’s high-tension penetrations. To prevent short circuits caused by large birds, the HU is also placed on the surge diverters - in this case, HU should be combined with insulated down-conductors using the HUS insulation spiral.
On post insulators, HU is used in combination with two HUF wings, which protect the overhead line nearest the insulator from short-circuiting.
All parts are made of UV-resistant plastic.
