TEMPO search balls (OmniMarker) have been used in Sweden for a long time when burying different types of cable and pipes. The patented design provides a spherical search field with approximately 1.5 metre radius. As the design makes the search field spherical, there is no need to place the search ball flat in the cable trench, as is typically the case for many other models. The balls have no moving parts, and are a purely passive product with a life span that probably exceeds the life of the cable it is buried with. Because TEMPO balls use standard frequencies, the balls can be located with all standard types of search tools for similar products.
