Capacitive sensors detect all materials (both conductive and non-conductive materials). Capacitive sensors have found an important application as level sensors. Then a line of sensors is put on, for example, a silo, a tank or other container with liquids or cereals. Detection of pellets is another very common application.
AC-sensor with 2-conductor systems is always connected in series with the load you wish to control. NO/NC selectable with switch.
DC-sensor with 4-conductor system is brown plus(+) and blue is minus(-). Black conductors are closing function (NO) and white conductors are breaking function (NC). Sheath of grey polyester. LED indication of the sensor's status. Activation distance adjustable with potentiometer on the sensor. Transient- and reverse polarity protection.
