Eco-Matic 5FR is an opaque, white, halogen-free, water-based elastic vinyl acetate copolymer-dispersion used in the Shot HM system for fireproofing of cable, pipe and ventilation penetrations in fire-resistant building parts. ECOMASTIC 5FR frees water, when it is exposed to high temperatures during a fire, while it forms a hard porcelain-like layer. This endothermic process effectively suppresses the heat flow to the base, delaying combustion and prevents fire spread. ECOMASTIC 5FR is elastic, waterproof, UV and oil resistant and can therefore also be used in areas with high relative humidity and high environmental impact. Registered in Basta.

Fire panel ME & MD is a mineral wool panel single-sided and double-sided respectively, coated with Ecomastic 5FR. fire-protection paint. The coating is converted to a ceramic-like shell when it is exposed to high temperatures during a fire and sustains an elastic, waterproof, UV and oil-resistant coating.
Fire panels TE & TD are mineral wool panels, single-sided and double-sided respectively, coated with Novatherm sealant 2FR-E. The exposed side is transformed into a thick foam layer when exposed to high temperatures during fire. The fine pore foam layer effectively suppresses heat flow to the base. In moist environments (RF>75%) Novatherm 2FR-E should be protected with approved topcoat. Both panels are registered in Basta.

It is openable and designed with a low profile, which significantly simplifies installation. The space around the pipe strangler is sealed (environment & sound seal) easily with Novatherm SP part number 1480017T. Mount board from each side in wall or floor with the help of the included joint / paint, seal with superwool and Ecomastic SP. If necessary, paint on cables / cable ladder 200mm. With painting, fire class EI120 is always achieved. For larger plastic pipes, you can supplement the system with a Novapipe S pipe sleeve and fasten it with a metal attachment.
