Petzl Vertex is a durable and comfortable helmet with 10 years of life. Adjustment wheels on the sides help center the helmet in the middle of the head. It is possible to mount standard earmuffs as well as the face protection Petzl Vizir and Vizen. Four headlamp brackets and groove for mounting Petzl Pixa or Ultra Vario headlamp. Comes with two different thicknesses on sweatband for best fit.

• All Vertex are tested and meet the requirements for EN 397 * and non-mandatory additions such as extra protection against molten metal, open fire, higher resistance to deformation and severe cold, and contact with electrical conductors.
• All Vertex are tested and meet the penetration requirements of EN 12492 (helmet standard for rock climbing) which are harder at a number of points than EN 397.
• Vertex ST also meets the requirements of EN 50365 (accidental contact with electrical conductor) which guarantees protection up to 1500 V DC, or 1000 V AC. In addition, these helmets are approved according to GS ET-29 class 1 (arc standard).

Helmet insert with 4-point attachment allows for individual adjustment of height and fit with vertical adjustments in several levels. Inspired by climbing helmets designed without brimming so you have an unobstructed view upwards. The helmet has accessory sockets and clamps that work with a large selection of visors, earmuffs and other accessories from 3M. UV indicator notifies the user when it is time to change the helmet due to UV exposure. Certified according to the standard SS-EN 397 for general industrial use. Approved for lateral deformation and splashing of molten metal. Electrical insulation against 1000 VAC and 440 VAC. UV stabilized ABS. Install the short visors on the helmet brackets for the hearing protectors or use separate helmet mounts, art 150954.
