Battery backup BT-5 FLX M COM from the BT-COM series used mainly in security systems where an SSF 1014 approved battery backup is required or when the customer wants the best functions in their security facilities. This battery backup is approved according to SSF1014, alarm class 1-4.

Among many other functions, the system is equipped with alarms in case of mains failure, low battery voltage, disconnected battery, cell short circuit, aged battery, tripped load fuse, over/under voltage, low system voltage, tamper. Alarm functions are presented above all in M5.
BT-5 FLX M COM can be expanded with up to 1x battery box. The battery box is easily connected to the battery backup by sliding it into the bottom edge and then connecting via a connection cable. By expanding the battery backup with a battery box, the backup operating time is extended and the battery backup has the option of offering a higher approved average load according to Alarm Class 1-4.
Please note that for Alarm Class 3, a wall sabotage contact must be used (accessory). For Alarm Class 4, the product must also be installed in a locked and alarmed space.
